What to visit in Kuala Lumpur?

Putrajaya is the new administrative capital of Malaysia.
It is located 20 km south of Kuala Lumpur, to which it is connected by a fast train, and near the new city of Cyberjaya, specializing in new technologies, the "Silicon Valley Asia", larger than that of United States. Putrajaya is both a federal territory and a city.

It is the former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Mohammed who is behind the project that will be completed in 2010. The city covers 4,581 hectares and fifteen kilometers long, withdrawn from the state of Selangor. It is built to house 330,000 inhabitants (600,000 in the long term) including 76,000 civil servants. This "smart" city is entirely computerized. Landing through the work of bulldozers having razed thousands of hectares of oil palm plantations, the city is the symbol of the new solid and sustainable foundations desired by the government.
Nearly 40% of its territory is devolved to green spaces. Lush botanical parks and gardens are scattered all over the city. Lake Putrajaya, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, 650 hectares, has even been dug and is fed by two rivers that have been diverted.

The Putra Mosque, flanked by a 116 m minaret, can accommodate ten thousand believers.
